Florence M. Landuyt, 89, of Mayflower Care Center in Grinnell and formerly of the Vining and Chelsea areas died Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the care center following a long illness. Services will be 10:00 AM Monday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Belle Plaine by Rev. Mike Mescher and Deacon Joe Behounek. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Vining. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine with a Rosary service at 7:00 PM.
She is survived by daughters, Shirley Cecak of Toledo, Darlene Klenk of Marshall, Texas, and Diane (Danny) O’Brien of Ocala, Florida; sons, Darold (Linda) of Ely, Wayne (Pam) of Grinnell, Alan (Karen) of Tama, and Alfonce of Vinton; sister, Lillian Iezek of Belle Plaine; brother, Frank Iezek of Dysart; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established. |
